Description
Easy spiced peach bread made with fresh juicy peaches, warm cinnamon, nutmeg, and a soft moist quick bread base. Perfect for breakfast or dessert.
Ingredients
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
2 large eggs
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/2 cup plain yogurt or sour cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups peaches, diced
Instructions
1. Preheat oven and grease loaf pan.
2. Whisk dry ingredients together.
3. Mix wet ingredients in another bowl.
4. Combine wet and dry mixtures.
5. Fold in peaches and bake until set.
Notes
Do not overmix batter.
Use ripe but firm peaches.
Cool before slicing.
Store wrapped tightly.
