Description

Ingredients

1 cup granulated sugar

1/2 cup light corn syrup

1/4 cup water

1 cup roasted peanuts

2 tablespoons unsalted butter

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 teaspoon coconut oil


Instructions

1. Prepare baking sheet.

2. Cook sugar, syrup, and water.

3. Add peanuts.

4. Cook to hard-crack stage.

5. Stir in butter, vanilla, and baking soda.

6. Spread onto baking sheet.

7. Cool completely.

8. Melt chocolate.

9. Spread over brittle.

10. Allow chocolate to set.

11. Break into pieces.

Notes

Use a candy thermometer for best results.

Work quickly after adding baking soda.

Store in airtight containers.
