Description

Cherry baked oatmeal made with hearty oats, sweet cherries, cinnamon, and milk for a warm and healthy make-ahead breakfast perfect for busy mornings.


Ingredients

Scale

2 cups old-fashioned oats

1 1/2 cups milk

2 eggs

1 1/2 cups cherries, pitted and halved

1/4 cup maple syrup or honey

2 tablespoons melted butter or coconut oil

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

Optional chopped nuts for topping


Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease baking dish.

2. Whisk milk, eggs, maple syrup, butter, and vanilla.

3. Stir in oats, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt.

4. Fold in cherries and pour into baking dish.

5. Bake 35–40 minutes until golden and set.

Notes

Use fresh or frozen cherries.

Great for meal prep.

Store refrigerated up to 5 days.

Serve warm with yogurt or maple syrup.
