Description

Zucchini basil pasta made with sautéed zucchini, fresh basil, garlic, and Parmesan tossed with pasta and light sauce.


Ingredients

Scale

12 oz pasta

2 zucchinis sliced

2 tbsp olive oil

3 cloves garlic

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp pepper

1/2 tsp chili flakes optional

1 cup basil

1/2 cup Parmesan

1/2 cup pasta water

1/2 lemon juice


Instructions

1. Cook pasta.

2. Sauté zucchini.

3. Add garlic and seasoning.

4. Combine pasta and zucchini.

5. Add pasta water.

6. Mix in basil and cheese.

7. Serve.

Notes

Use fresh basil for best flavor.

Don’t overcook zucchini.

Add pasta water for creaminess.

Serve immediately.
