Description

Refreshing watermelon sorbet made with fresh watermelon, lime juice, and a touch of sugar for a light, icy, and naturally sweet summer dessert.

Ingredients

Scale

6 cups seedless watermelon, cubed

1/4 cup granulated sugar

2 tablespoons lime juice

1 teaspoon lime zest

Pinch of salt

Instructions

1.

2. Cut and blend watermelon until completely smooth.

3. Strain mixture for extra smooth texture (optional).

4. Add sugar, lime juice, lime zest, and salt.

5. Stir well until sugar dissolves.

6. Chill mixture for at least 2 hours.

7. Pour into ice cream maker and churn until frozen.

8. OR freeze in a shallow container and stir every 30–45 minutes.

9. Freeze until firm and scoopable.

10. Serve cold in chilled bowls.

11.

Notes

Use very ripe watermelon for best natural sweetness.

Chilling before freezing improves texture.

Stirring helps prevent ice crystals if no machine is used.

Store in airtight container for up to 2 weeks.

Let sit 5–10 minutes before scooping.
