Description

Juicy teriyaki chicken skewers made with tender chicken pieces coated in a sweet and savory homemade teriyaki glaze. Perfect for grilling, BBQs, and easy dinners.


Ingredients

1 ½ lbs chicken breast or thighs, cut into chunks

1/2 cup soy sauce

1/4 cup honey

2 tablespoons brown sugar

2 tablespoons rice vinegar

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 teaspoon ginger, grated

1 tablespoon cornstarch

2 tablespoons water

1 tablespoon sesame oil

Wooden or metal skewers


Instructions

1. Whisk soy sauce, honey, brown sugar, rice vinegar, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil to make marinade.

2. Add chicken and marinate for at least 30 minutes.

3. Thread chicken onto skewers evenly.

4. Grill for 10–12 minutes, turning and brushing with marinade.

5. Mix cornstarch and water, heat remaining marinade until thick, and brush over skewers before serving.

Notes

Best marinated 2–4 hours for deeper flavor.

Soak wooden skewers before grilling.

Serve with rice or vegetables.

Store leftovers in fridge up to 3 days.
