Description
Strawberry Lemon Cookies – soft cookies with fresh strawberry flavor and bright lemon zest.
Ingredients
Scale
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
¼ tsp salt
½ cup butter
¾ cup sugar
1 egg
1 tbsp lemon zest
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp vanilla
¾ cup strawberries chopped
¼ cup powdered sugar optional
Instructions
1. Preheat oven and prepare baking sheet
2. Mix dry ingredients
3. Cream butter and sugar
4. Add egg and flavorings
5. Combine mixtures
6. Fold in strawberries
7. Scoop dough onto tray
8. Bake 12–15 minutes
9. Cool and serve
Notes
Use fresh strawberries
Do not overmix dough
Chill dough if needed
