Ingredients
2 cups strawberries sliced
3/4 cup sugar
2 cups heavy cream
1 cup milk
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
1. Mix strawberries with sugar and lemon juice.
2. Let rest until juicy.
3. Mash or blend strawberries.
4. Mix milk, sugar, vanilla, salt.
5. Add cream and strawberries.
6. Chill mixture.
7. Churn or freeze with stirring.
8. Freeze until firm.
9. Serve.
Notes
Use ripe strawberries for best flavor.
Chill mixture before freezing.
Stir if not using machine.
