Rhubarb Compote – a sweet and tangy sauce made with fresh rhubarb, perfect for breakfast or dessert.
Ingredients
Scale
4 cups rhubarb
¾ cup sugar
¼ cup water
1 tsp vanilla
1 tbsp lemon juice
Instructions
1. Combine rhubarb, sugar, and water
2. Simmer until soft
3. Cook 10–15 minutes
4. Stir in vanilla and lemon
5. Cool and serve
Notes
Adjust sweetness to taste
Cook longer for thicker texture
Store properly
