Description
Red velvet cakesicles made with crumbled cake, cream cheese frosting, and chocolate coating for a festive dessert treat.
Ingredients
1 1/2 cups flour
1 cup sugar
1 tablespoon cocoa powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup buttermilk
1/2 cup oil
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
Red food coloring
1 cup cream cheese frosting
12 oz chocolate
Instructions
1. Bake cake and cool.
2. Crumble cake.
3. Mix with frosting.
4. Fill molds.
5. Freeze until firm.
6. Dip in chocolate.
7. Decorate and set.
Notes
Freeze before dipping.
Use boxed cake for shortcut.
Let chocolate cool slightly before coating.
Store chilled.
