Description

Decadent and creamy No-Bake Pecan Pie Trifle layered with chunks of bakery pecan pie, vanilla cream cheese mousse, dark chocolate chips, and toasted pecans.

Ingredients

Scale

1 1/2 large prepared pecan pies from the bakery section of the market

8 oz. block of Philadelphia Cream Cheese, at room temperature

1 1/2 cups heavy cream

1/2 cup powdered sugar

1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract

3/4 cup dark chocolate chips

1/2 cup pecan pieces, toasted

Instructions

1. Whip cold heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract in a chilled bowl until medium-stiff peaks form.

2. Beat softened cream cheese until smooth, then gently fold in half of the prepared whipped cream.

3. Cut prepared bakery pecan pies into 1-inch bite-sized chunks.

4. Layer 1/3 of the pie chunks in a glass trifle dish, spread half of the cream cheese mousse, and sprinkle half of the dark chocolate chips.

5. Repeat with another 1/3 pie chunks, remaining cream cheese mousse, remaining pie chunks, and top with reserved whipped cream.

6. Garnish top with remaining chocolate chips and toasted pecan pieces, chill for 2 hours, scoop, and serve.

Notes

Soften cream cheese fully to prevent lumps. Chill assembled trifle for at least 2 hours before scooping for clean layers.
