Description

Peaches Foster features tender peaches cooked in a buttery brown sugar sauce and served warm over vanilla ice cream.


Ingredients

4 ripe peaches sliced

4 tablespoons butter

1/2 cup brown sugar

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 tablespoons peach juice

Pinch of salt

6 scoops vanilla ice cream


Instructions

1. Melt butter in skillet.

2. Add brown sugar and spices.

3. Stir until smooth.

4. Add juice and vanilla.

5. Add peaches.

6. Cook until tender.

7. Serve over ice cream.

8. Garnish and enjoy.

Notes

Use ripe but firm peaches.

Do not overcook fruit.

Serve immediately.

Great over cake or waffles too.
