Description

Easy peach tart made with flaky buttery crust and sweet juicy peaches for a simple bakery-style summer dessert perfect for gatherings and brunch.


Ingredients

1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1/2 cup cold unsalted butter, cubed

1 egg yolk

2 tablespoons cold water

4 ripe peaches, sliced

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1 tablespoon cornstarch

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

1 tablespoon lemon juice

Powdered sugar for topping (optional)


Instructions

1. Preheat oven and grease tart pan.

2. Prepare tart dough and chill briefly.

3. Mix peach filling ingredients together.

4. Arrange peaches over prepared crust.

5. Bake until crust is golden and peaches are tender.

Notes

Use ripe but firm peaches.
