Description
Refreshing homemade peach sorbet made with ripe peaches, lemon, and simple syrup for a naturally fruity frozen dessert.
Ingredients
4 cups peaches peeled and sliced
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup water
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon lemon zest
Pinch of salt
Instructions
1. Make simple syrup.
2. Cool syrup completely.
3. Blend peaches with lemon juice and zest.
4. Add syrup and blend smooth.
5. Chill mixture.
6. Churn in ice cream maker.
7. Transfer to container.
8. Freeze until firm.
9. Scoop and serve.
Notes
Use ripe peaches for best flavor.
Chill mixture before churning.
Allow sorbet to soften before serving.
Store covered in freezer.
