Description
Refreshing homemade peach lemonade made with fresh peaches and lemons. A sweet, tangy, and cooling summer drink perfect for hot days.
Ingredients
4 ripe peaches, sliced
1 cup fresh lemon juice (about 5 to 6 lemons)
3/4 cup granulated sugar
4 cups cold water
2 cups ice cubes
1 peach, sliced (for garnish)
1 lemon, sliced (for garnish)
Fresh mint leaves (optional)
Instructions
1. Add sliced peaches, sugar, and 1 cup of water to a saucepan and cook over medium heat for 8–10 minutes until soft and juicy.
2. Remove from heat and let cool slightly, then blend until smooth.
3. Strain the peach puree if a smoother texture is preferred.
4. Juice fresh lemons and remove any seeds.
5. In a large pitcher, combine peach puree, lemon juice, and remaining water. Stir well.
6. Chill, serve over ice, and garnish with peach slices, lemon slices, and mint leaves.
Notes
Best served cold.
Store in refrigerator up to 4 days.
Stir before serving as natural separation may occur.
Can be prepared ahead for parties and gatherings.
