Description
Peach fritters made with fresh peaches folded into a sweet batter, fried until golden and topped with glaze or powdered sugar.
Ingredients
1 1/2 cups flour
1/4 cup sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cinnamon
2/3 cup milk
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
2 tbsp butter
2 peaches diced
Vegetable oil
Instructions
1. Mix dry ingredients.
2. Mix wet ingredients.
3. Combine batter.
4. Fold in peaches.
5. Heat oil.
6. Fry fritters.
7. Drain and glaze.
8. Serve warm.
Notes
Use ripe peaches for best flavor.
Don’t overcrowd pan.
