Description

Juicy peach BBQ chicken coated in a sweet smoky peach barbecue sauce made with fresh peaches, ketchup, and spices.


Ingredients

2 pounds chicken thighs or breasts

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon paprika

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 ripe peaches

1 cup ketchup

1/4 cup brown sugar

2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar

2 tablespoons honey

1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1/2 teaspoon chili flakes

2 cloves garlic


Instructions

1. Season chicken with spices.

2. Blend peaches into puree.

3. Make BBQ sauce and simmer.

4. Grill chicken until nearly done.

5. Brush with sauce and finish grilling.

6. Serve hot.

Notes

Use chicken thighs for juiciness.

Brush sauce at the end to avoid burning.
