Description
Mushroom Tacos – savory vegetarian tacos filled with seasoned mushrooms and fresh toppings.
Ingredients
2 tbsp olive oil
16 oz mushrooms, sliced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp ground cumin
½ tsp chili powder
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp black pepper
1 tbsp lime juice
8 tortillas
½ cup diced tomatoes
½ cup shredded lettuce
¼ cup chopped cilantro
½ cup avocado slices
¼ cup sour cream optional
Instructions
1. Heat oil and cook mushrooms until golden
2. Add garlic and cook briefly
3. Add spices and cook for 2–3 minutes
4. Stir in lime juice
5. Warm tortillas
6. Fill tortillas with mushrooms
7. Add toppings
8. Serve immediately
Notes
Cook mushrooms until moisture evaporates
Use high heat for best texture
Add beans for protein
Serve fresh for best flavor
