Description
Mango Tart – creamy tropical tart with buttery crust and fresh mango filling.
Ingredients
1 ¼ cups flour
½ cup butter cold
2 tbsp sugar
1 egg yolk
2–3 tbsp water
¼ tsp salt
2 mangoes pureed
1 cup heavy cream
½ cup cream cheese
½ cup powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 mango sliced
1 tbsp honey optional
Instructions
1. Make tart dough and chill
2. Bake crust until golden
3. Cool crust completely
4. Prepare mango filling
5. Whip cream and mix filling
6. Fill tart shell
7. Chill 4 hours
8. Top with mango slices and serve
Notes
Use ripe mangoes
Chill well before serving
Do not overfill crust
Serve cold for best texture
