Ingredients
1 ½ cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
¼ tsp salt
2 tbsp poppy seeds
½ cup butter
¾ cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tbsp lemon zest
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp vanilla
½ cup milk
1 cup powdered sugar
2 tbsp lemon juice
Instructions
1. Preheat oven and prepare loaf pan
2. Mix dry ingredients
3. Cream butter and sugar
4. Add eggs and flavorings
5. Combine with dry ingredients and milk
6. Bake 50–55 minutes
7. Cool completely
8. Prepare glaze
9. Drizzle glaze and serve
Notes
Use fresh lemon for best flavor
Do not overmix batter
Cool before glazing
