Description

Grilled Chicken Skewers – juicy, flavorful chicken pieces marinated in spices and grilled to smoky perfection.


Ingredients

1 ½ lb chicken breast or chicken thighs, cut into 1-inch cubes

3 tbsp olive oil

2 tbsp lemon juice

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 ½ tsp paprika

1 tsp ground cumin

1 tsp salt

½ tsp black pepper

½ tsp chili powder (optional)

¼ cup plain yogurt (optional for tenderness)

810 wooden or metal skewers

1 cup bell peppers, chopped (optional)

1 cup red onion, chopped (optional)

1 cup zucchini chunks (optional)


Instructions

1. Cut chicken into evenly sized cubes

2. Mix olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, and spices in a bowl

3. Add chicken and coat well with marinade

4. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes

5. Soak wooden skewers if using

6. Thread chicken onto skewers evenly

7. Preheat grill to medium-high heat

8. Place skewers on grill

9. Cook for 10–12 minutes, turning occasionally

10. Grill until chicken is fully cooked and slightly charred

11. Remove and let rest for a few minutes

12. Serve hot with sides or sauces

Notes
