Description
Easy strawberry Danish made with puff pastry, cream cheese filling, and fresh strawberries baked until golden and flaky.
Ingredients
1 sheet puff pastry
4 oz cream cheese
1/4 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup strawberries chopped
1 tablespoon sugar
1 egg beaten
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
2. Mix cream cheese filling.
3. Mix strawberries with sugar.
4. Cut puff pastry.
5. Score centers.
6. Add filling and strawberries.
7. Brush edges with egg.
8. Bake until golden.
9. Cool and serve.
Notes
Use thawed puff pastry.
Drain strawberries well.
Serve fresh for best texture.
Add glaze or powdered sugar.
