Ingredients
1 cup butter
1 cup sugar
3 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups cherry filling
1 cup powdered sugar
2 to 3 tablespoons lemon juice
Instructions
1. Cream butter and sugar.
2. Add eggs and vanilla.
3. Mix in dry ingredients.
4. Spread half batter in pan.
5. Add cherry filling.
6. Top with remaining batter.
7. Bake until golden.
8. Drizzle lemon glaze.
Notes
Cool completely before slicing.
