Asparagus Orzo – a light and creamy pasta dish with fresh asparagus and lemon flavor.
Ingredients
Scale
1 cup orzo
1 bunch asparagus
2 tbsp olive oil
2 cloves garlic
2 cups broth
½ cup parmesan
¼ cup cream
½ tsp salt
¼ tsp pepper
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp parsley
Instructions
1. Cook asparagus and garlic
2. Add orzo and toast
3. Add broth and simmer
4. Stir in cream and cheese
5. Season and serve
Notes
Use fresh asparagus
Stir occasionally
Serve warm
