Description

Sweet dates stuffed with creamy feta and crunchy walnuts, finished with a luscious honey glaze for a sophisticated appetizer or snack.

Ingredients

Scale

20 Medjool dates, pitted

100g feta cheese, crumbled

50g walnuts, chopped

2 tablespoons honey

Optional: fresh thyme or rosemary for garnish

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

2. Carefully slice each date lengthwise to create an opening.

3. Mix crumbled feta and chopped walnuts in a small bowl. Spoon the mixture into each date.

4. Place stuffed dates on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 8–10 minutes until slightly golden.

5. Drizzle honey over the baked dates and add optional fresh herbs for garnish.

6. Arrange on a platter and serve.

Notes

Add spices like cinnamon or paprika for extra flavor.

Substitute walnuts with almonds or pecans.

Use goat cheese instead of feta for creamier filling.

Drizzle with maple syrup instead of honey for variation.

Prepare dates ahead of time and bake just before serving.
