Description
A family-friendly comfort food classic made with ground beef, creamy sauce, mixed vegetables, and topped with crispy golden tater tots.
Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1 small onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
1 cup frozen mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn)
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, divided
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
1 tsp paprika (optional)
1 bag (32 oz) frozen tater tots
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. In a skillet, cook ground beef, onion, and garlic until browned; drain excess fat.
3. Stir in soup, vegetables, half the cheese, salt, pepper, and paprika.
4. Spread mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
5. Arrange tater tots evenly on top.
6. Bake 35–40 minutes until golden and crispy.
7. Sprinkle with remaining cheese, bake 5 more minutes.
8. Cool slightly and serve.
Notes
Swap beef with ground turkey for a lighter version.
Use cream of chicken soup if preferred.
Add jalapeños for extra spice.
Try mozzarella or pepper jack cheese for variety.
