Description

Strawberry Pretzel Salad is a layered dessert with salty pretzel crust, creamy filling, and sweet strawberry gelatin topping. Perfect for holidays and potlucks.


Ingredients

2 cups crushed pretzels

¾ cup unsalted butter melted

3 tablespoons granulated sugar

8 ounces cream cheese softened

1 cup granulated sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

8 ounces whipped topping

1 package (6 ounces) strawberry gelatin

2 cups boiling water

2 cups fresh strawberries sliced


Instructions

1. Preheat oven and prepare baking dish

2. Mix pretzels butter and sugar

3. Press into pan and bake 8-10 minutes

4. Cool completely

5. Beat cream cheese and sugar

6. Add vanilla and fold in whipped topping

7. Spread over crust sealing edges

8. Dissolve gelatin in boiling water

9. Cool slightly and stir in strawberries

10. Pour over cream layer

11. Refrigerate 4 hours until set

12. Slice and serve
