Description

Strawberry Jam is a sweet and flavorful homemade fruit spread made from fresh strawberries and sugar. Perfect for toast, desserts, and breakfast treats.


Ingredients

2 lbs fresh strawberries hulled and halved

2 cups granulated sugar

2 tablespoons lemon juice

1 teaspoon vanilla extract optional


Instructions

1. Place strawberries in large saucepan over medium heat.

3. Bring mixture to boil, stirring frequently.

4. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer 20–25 minutes until thickened.

5. Mash strawberries to desired consistency.

8. Transfer to sterilized jars and seal tightly.

9. Allow to cool completely before refrigerating or storing.
