Description

Warm strawberry crisp with juicy strawberries and crunchy oat topping. Easy, fruity dessert perfect for summer or any occasion.


Ingredients

4 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and halved

1/4 cup granulated sugar

1 tablespoon cornstarch

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon lemon zest

1/2 cup old-fashioned oats

1/3 cup all-purpose flour

1/3 cup brown sugar

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted


Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease baking dish.

2. Mix strawberries with sugar, cornstarch, vanilla, and lemon zest; pour into dish.

3. Combine oats, flour, brown sugar, salt, cinnamon; stir in butter.

4. Sprinkle crumble topping over strawberries.

5. Bake 35–40 minutes until golden and bubbly.

6. Cool slightly; serve optionally with ice cream.

Notes

Use frozen strawberries if needed.

Add nuts to the topping for extra crunch.

Substitute or mix other fruits.

Adjust sugar based on fruit sweetness.
