Description

Soft and chewy Strawberry Cookies made with real strawberries and sweet jam.


Ingredients

Scale

2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1/4 teaspoon salt

3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened

3/4 cup granulated sugar

1/4 cup brown sugar

1 large egg

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup strawberry jam

1/2 cup chopped strawberries


Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line baking sheets.

2. Whisk dry ingredients together.

3. Cream butter and sugars until fluffy.

4. Add egg, vanilla, and jam.

5. Mix in dry ingredients.

6. Fold in strawberries.

7. Scoop dough onto baking sheets.

8. Bake 10–12 minutes.

9. Cool before serving.

Notes

Use freeze-dried strawberries for stronger flavor.

Chill dough for thicker cookies.

Do not overbake to keep cookies chewy.

Add white chocolate chips if desired.

Store in airtight container.
