Description

This Strawberry Banana Bread combines ripe bananas and fresh strawberries into a moist, flavorful loaf. Perfect for breakfast, brunch, or dessert, it’s simple to make and loved by the whole family.


Ingredients

1 ½ cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

½ teaspoon baking powder

¼ teaspoon salt

½ teaspoon cinnamon

½ cup unsalted butter, softened

½ cup granulated sugar

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

3 ripe bananas, mashed

1 cup chopped fresh strawberries

¼ cup sour cream or Greek yogurt


Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan or line with parchment paper.

2. Whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.

3. Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla, mixing well.

4. Mix in mashed bananas and sour cream until smooth.

5. Fold in dry ingredients until just combined.

6. Gently fold in strawberries.

7. Pour batter into prepared pan.

8. Bake 55–65 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean.

9. Cool 10 minutes, remove from pan, and slice to serve.

Notes

Use fresh or thawed strawberries. Coat them lightly with flour to prevent sinking.

Add nuts or chocolate chips for variation.

Serve with butter, cream cheese, or ice cream for extra indulgence.
