Description

Spinach Artichoke Pizza is a creamy cheesy pizza topped with spinach artichokes and melted mozzarella on a crispy crust.


Ingredients

1 prepared pizza dough

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 cup chopped fresh spinach

1 cup artichoke hearts drained and chopped

1/2 cup cream cheese softened

1/4 cup sour cream

1 garlic clove minced

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Optional red pepper flakes


Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).

2. Roll out pizza dough on baking sheet or pizza stone.

3. Brush dough lightly with olive oil.

4. Mix cream cheese sour cream garlic and pepper.

5. Spread mixture over dough.

6. Top with spinach.

7. Add chopped artichokes.

8. Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.

9. Bake 12 to 15 minutes until crust is golden.

10. Cool slightly slice and serve.

Notes

Flatbread or naan can replace pizza dough.

Add mushrooms for more flavor.

Provolone or fontina can replace mozzarella.

Add sun dried tomatoes for Mediterranean flavor.

Whole wheat dough can be used.
