Ingredients
1 pound fresh asparagus, trimmed
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
½ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
Juice of 1 lemon
Lemon zest for garnish optional
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C)
2. Arrange asparagus on a baking sheet in a single layer
3. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat.
4. Roast for 12–15 minutes until tender and lightly browned
5. Remove from oven, squeeze lemon juice over top, and garnish with zest
6. Serve immediately

Use thin asparagus spears for quicker roasting
Garnish with lemon zest or Parmesan if desired
