Description

Creamy, decadent Red Velvet Truffles with a smooth cream cheese center and optional chocolate drizzle, perfect for gifting or dessert.


Ingredients

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

2 cups powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 tablespoon cocoa powder

1 teaspoon red food coloring

1 1/2 cups crushed red velvet cake or cake crumbs

1/2 cup white chocolate, melted

Optional: extra cocoa powder or sprinkles for coating


Instructions

1. Beat cream cheese and butter until creamy.

2. Add powdered sugar, cocoa powder, red food coloring, and vanilla extract.

3. Fold in cake crumbs until mixture holds together.

4. Scoop and roll into 1-inch balls.

5. Optional: roll in cocoa powder, sprinkles, or nuts.

6. Chill for 30 minutes to firm.

7. Drizzle melted white chocolate over truffles.

8. Store in refrigerator or freezer.
