Ingredients
1 loaf French or Italian bread
1 cup cooked chili (beef or vegetarian)
1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
½ teaspoon garlic powder
¼ teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons butter, melted
2 tablespoons chopped green onions (optional)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C)
2. Slice bread into 1-inch cubes, leaving bottom attached if using pull-apart style
3. Mix chili with garlic powder and pepper
4. Stuff bread cubes with chili and cheese evenly
5. Drizzle melted butter over the top
6. Wrap in foil and bake 15–20 minutes
7. Remove foil and bake 5 more minutes for crispy top
8. Garnish with green onions and serve
