Description

Potsticker Soup is a hearty, comforting bowl full of tender dumplings, vegetables, and a savory broth. Quick and easy to make at home.


Ingredients

12 frozen chicken potstickers 

6 cups chicken or vegetable broth

2 cups chopped napa cabbage or bok choy

2 carrots, thinly sliced

3 green onions, chopped

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 tablespoon sesame oil

1 teaspoon grated ginger

Optional: Sriracha or chili oil for heat


Instructions

1. In a large pot, heat sesame oil over medium heat and add grated ginger; sauté for 1 minute.

2. Add chicken or vegetable broth and bring to a simmer.

3. Add carrots and cabbage, cooking for 3–4 minutes until slightly tender.

4. Gently add frozen potstickers to the simmering broth. Cook for 5–7 minutes until dumplings are heated through.

5. Stir in soy sauce and adjust seasoning as needed.

6. Ladle soup into bowls and garnish with chopped green onions.

7. Drizzle with Sriracha or chili oil if desired before serving.

Notes

Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.

Do not freeze soup with cooked dumplings.
