Description

Sweet, crunchy popcorn balls coated in a sticky syrup. Fun to make and perfect for parties or holidays.


Ingredients

10 cups popped popcorn (about ½ cup unpopped kernels)

½ cup unsalted butter

½ cup light corn syrup or honey

1 cup granulated sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract Pinch of salt Optional: sprinkles, chocolate chips, or nuts


Instructions

1. Pop the popcorn and remove unpopped kernels.

2. Place in a large bowl. In a saucepan, combine butter, corn syrup, sugar, and salt.

3. Cook until sugar dissolves and syrup boils.

4.Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.

5. Pour syrup over popcorn and mix quickly to coat evenly.

6. Shape coated popcorn into balls while warm.

7. Allow to cool completely before serving or decorating.
