Pizza Pinwheels are cheesy, savory, and fun to make. Soft pizza dough, melted cheese, pizza sauce, and mushrooms create a perfect snack or appetizer.
Ingredients
1 (16 oz) refrigerated pizza dough
½ cup pizza sauce or marinara
1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
½ cup sliced mushrooms
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment
2. Roll pizza dough into a 12×8 inch rectangle
3. Spread pizza sauce over dough, leaving ½-inch border
4. Sprinkle mozzarella, mushrooms, and Italian seasoning
5. Roll dough tightly from one long side
6. Slice into 1-inch pinwheels and place on baking sheet
7. Brush with olive oil and bake 15–18 minutes until golden
8. Serve warm with marinara sauce
