Ingredients
12 oz pasta
1 cup fresh or frozen peas
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
Zest of 1 lemon
2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil (optional)
Instructions
1. Cook pasta according to package instructions
2. Blanch peas if frozen
3. Sauté garlic in olive oil 1 minute
4. Add peas and cook 2–3 minutes
5. Add pasta, Parmesan, salt, pepper, and lemon zest; toss to coat
6. Garnish with basil and serve
