Description

Crispy homemade oven-baked fries that are golden on the outside, fluffy inside, and perfectly seasoned.

Ingredients

Scale

4 large russet potatoes

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, chopped

Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet with parchment.

2. Wash and peel potatoes; cut into 1/4-inch fries.

3. Soak in cold water for 30 minutes, drain, and pat dry.

4. Toss potatoes with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.

5. Spread in a single layer on baking sheet.

6. Bake 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway.

7. Sprinkle rosemary and parsley before serving.

Notes

Soak potatoes longer for extra crispiness.

Use sweet potatoes for a sweet alternative.

Add parmesan or paprika before baking for flavor.

Serve with dips like aioli or ketchup.

Do not overcrowd the baking sheet for even baking.
