Oven Baked Beef Back Ribs are tender, juicy, and full of smoky, savory flavor. Slow-baked with spices and a sweet glaze, they’re perfect for family dinners or game days.
Ingredients
2 lbs beef back ribs
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
½ teaspoon chili powder (optional)
½ cup barbecue sauce or homemade glaze
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C) and line a baking sheet with foil with a wire rack.
2. Remove silver skin from the back of ribs and pat dry.
3. Rub ribs with olive oil and season with salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and chili powder.
4. Place ribs on wire rack and cover loosely with foil. Bake for 2–2.5 hours until tender.
5. Brush ribs with barbecue sauce and broil 3–5 minutes to caramelize.
6. Slice between bones and serve warm.
Notes
Adjust spice level by adding cayenne pepper.
Marinate overnight for deeper flavor.
Use homemade glaze for a sweeter finish.
Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
