Maple Syrup Pie is a smooth, custard-style pie made with pure maple syrup and a flaky crust.
Ingredients
1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust
1 cup pure maple syrup
3/4 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup unsalted butter
3/4 cup light brown sugar
2 large eggs
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F and prepare pie crust
2. Heat maple syrup, cream, butter, and sugar until smooth
3. Cool mixture slightly
4. Whisk eggs, cornstarch, vanilla, and salt
5. Combine maple mixture with eggs
6. Pour filling into crust
7. Bake until set with slight jiggle
8. Cool and refrigerate before slicing
Notes
Chill fully before slicing for best texture.
Use pure maple syrup only.
Serve with whipped cream if desired.
