Description

Mac and Cheese Cups are creamy, cheesy, and perfectly portioned, ideal for snacks, lunchboxes, or parties.


Ingredients

2 cups elbow macaroni, cooked al dente

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese

½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 cup milk

2 tablespoons unsalted butter

2 tablespoons all-purpose flour

½ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon black pepper

½ teaspoon garlic powder (optional)

1 tablespoon breadcrumbs for topping (optional)


Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F and grease 12-cup muffin tin

2. Melt butter in saucepan, stir in flour for roux

3. Gradually whisk in milk until thickened

4. Add salt, pepper, garlic powder, and half cheddar, stir until smooth

5. Mix macaroni into cheese sauce

6. Spoon mixture into muffin cups

7. Top with remaining cheese, Parmesan, and breadcrumbs

8. Bake 15–20 minutes until golden and crispy

9. Cool 5 minutes before serving
