Description

A hearty, flavorful Instant Pot Turkey Chili made with lean ground turkey, beans, and spices — a quick, protein-packed comfort meal.


Ingredients

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 pound ground turkey

1 medium onion, diced

3 garlic cloves, minced

1 red bell pepper, diced

1 (15-ounce) can black beans, drained and rinsed

1 (15-ounce) can kidney beans, drained and rinsed

1 (28-ounce) can diced tomatoes

2 tablespoons tomato paste

1 ½ cups chicken broth

2 tablespoons chili powder

1 teaspoon ground cumin

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

½ teaspoon cayenne pepper

Salt and black pepper to taste


Instructions

1. Turn Instant Pot to Sauté mode and brown the ground turkey in olive oil.

2. Add onion, garlic, and bell pepper; sauté for 3–4 minutes.

3. Mix in chili powder, cumin, paprika, and other seasonings.

4. Add tomato paste, diced tomatoes, beans, and broth; stir to combine.

5. Pressure cook on Manual for 15 minutes.

6. Let pressure release naturally for 10 minutes, then vent.

7. Serve hot with toppings of choice.

Notes

Store leftovers up to 4 days in the fridge or 3 months in the freezer.
