Description

Creamy, smooth, and full of flavor, this easy homemade hummus is made with chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, and garlic, perfect for dipping or spreading.


Ingredients

Scale

1 can chickpeas

1/4 cup lemon juice

1/4 cup tahini

1 garlic clove

2 tbsp olive oil

1/2 tsp cumin

Salt to taste

23 tbsp cold water

Paprika and parsley for garnish


Instructions

1. Blend tahini and lemon juice until creamy.

2. Add garlic, olive oil, cumin, and salt. Blend again.

3. Add chickpeas and blend until smooth.

4. Gradually add cold water for texture.

5. Adjust seasoning and serve with olive oil and paprika.

Notes

Store in the fridge for 5 days or freeze for 3 months. Serve with veggies, pita, or as a spread.
