Honey Glazed Carrots are tender, sweet, and perfectly glazed with honey, making a quick and colorful side dish.
Ingredients
1 lb (450g) carrots, peeled and cut into sticks or rounds
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons honey
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon optional
1 teaspoon fresh parsley chopped optional
Instructions
1. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
2. Add carrots, salt, and pepper; sauté for 5–7 minutes until slightly tender.
3. Drizzle honey over the carrots and stir to coat evenly.
4. Optional: sprinkle cinnamon for added warmth.
5. Cook for another 3–5 minutes until carrots are tender and glazed.
6. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
7. Serve warm.
Notes
Use baby carrots for faster cooking.
Substitute maple syrup for honey to make vegan.
Add orange juice or toasted nuts for extra flavor.
Roast in the oven at 400°F (200°C) for 20 minutes.
