Description

A luxurious Middle Eastern–inspired Homemade Dubai Chocolate Bar made with crispy kataifi, creamy pistachio filling, tahini, and rich milk chocolate.

Ingredients

Scale

1 1/2 cups kataifi (shredded phyllo dough), packed

3 tablespoons unsalted butter

1/2 cup pistachio cream (pistachio butter)

1 tablespoon tahini

16 ounces milk chocolate, melted

1/8 teaspoon salt

1 ounce white chocolate, for decoration (optional)

Flaky sea salt, for topping (optional)

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper.

2. Melt butter and mix with kataifi until fully coated.

3. Spread kataifi in the pan and bake for 10–12 minutes until crisp and golden. Allow to cool slightly.

4. Mix pistachio cream, tahini, and salt until smooth. Spread evenly over the kataifi base.

5. Pour melted milk chocolate on top and smooth the surface.

6. Optional: Drizzle melted white chocolate and sprinkle flaky sea salt.

7. Chill for at least 1 hour, then slice into bars and serve.

Notes

Store the bars chilled for the best texture.

You may use dark chocolate instead of milk chocolate.
