Description
Soft, gooey giant skillet chocolate chip cookie perfect for sharing or indulging.
Ingredients
1 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 cup brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups chocolate chips
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
2. Mix melted butter with sugars.
3. Beat in eggs and vanilla.
4. Whisk dry ingredients and add to wet mixture.
5. Fold in chocolate chips.
6. Press dough into a greased skillet.
7. Bake 25-30 minutes until edges are golden.
8. Cool slightly and serve.
Notes
Slightly underbake for extra gooeyness.
Add nuts or caramel for variation.
Freeze dough for later baking.
Serve warm with ice cream.
