Description
Garlic Roasted Broccoli is crispy, tender, and full of garlic flavor. Quick to make and perfect for weeknight or holiday meals.
Ingredients
1 pound broccoli florets
3 tablespoons olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional
1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese optional
1 teaspoon lemon zest optional
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
2. Wash and trim broccoli into florets.
3. Place in mixing bowl.
4. Add olive oil, garlic, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes; toss.
5. Spread on parchment-lined baking sheet.
6. Roast 15–18 minutes until tender and slightly crispy.
7. Sprinkle Parmesan and lemon zest if desired.
8. Serve immediately.
Notes
Use fresh, firm broccoli.
Add lemon juice for brightness.
Sprinkle chili flakes for heat.
Toss with nuts for crunch.
Substitute Pecorino Romano for Parmesan.
Roast with other vegetables.
