Description

Florida Shrimp Pie is a creamy, cheesy pie with tender shrimp, vegetables, and flavorful sauce, perfect for dinner or entertaining.


Ingredients

1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined

2 tablespoons butter

1 small onion, chopped

1 small bell pepper, diced

2 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons all-purpose flour

1 cup milk

½ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon black pepper

¼ teaspoon paprika

½ cup cheddar cheese

½ cup Parmesan cheese

1 cup frozen peas

1 prepared pie crust (9-inch)

2 tablespoons fresh parsley


Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F

2. Sauté onion, bell pepper, garlic in butter

3. Sprinkle flour and cook 1 minute

4. Whisk in milk until thickened, season

5. Add shrimp, peas, and half the cheese, cook 2–3 minutes

6. Pour into pie crust, top with remaining cheese

7. Bake 20–25 minutes until golden

8. Garnish and serve warm
